15-Hour 2012-13
National USPAP Course
(Classroom)
This class
is primarily for qualifying education, but can also be used by
licensed appraisers to satisfy up to 14 hours of
continuing education.
The Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement
Act of 1989 recognizes USPAP as the generally accepted appraisal standards and
requires USPAP compliance for appraisers in federally related transactions.
State Appraiser Certification and Licensing Boards; federal, state, and local
agencies, appraisal services; and appraisal trade associations require
compliance with USPAP.
The
15-hour National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)
material is designed to aid appraisers in all areas of appraisal practice
seeking competency in the USPAP. This course is intended to fulfill the 15-hour
requirement as established by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of The
Appraisal Foundation.
This
course is OREA Approved for 15-hours USPAP Module/Basic Education (OREA# 11832012)
under the conditions and policies stated below. The price indicated below
includes both the Student Manual and the 2012-13 USPAP
Document.

COURSE MATERIALS
All course materials, including Student Manual and USPAP Document will be available to be picked up at the event only.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For most courses offered, Valuadora will allow for a full refund or credit of course fees paid prior to the date of the course for cancellations of any reason. The timing for a full refund must be made via phone or email prior to 5pm on the last business day prior to the start of class. After 5pm on the business day preceding the start of the class, refund will be as follows:

Only the course fees will be refunded or credited; time spent in the classroom will not be credited to a future class retake. Materials must be returned to the Instructor in new condition or entire fee is forfeited.
ATTENDANCE AND COMPLETION CERTIFICATES
Valuadora policy mirrors The Appraisal Foundation’s policy for USPAP courses. Students must attend at least 90% of the class time (and certify to that end) and receive a minimum score of 76% on the final exam to receive course credit. Nancy Summers shall provide a completion certificates to students within 15 days of successful completion of the course via mail. Students who did not attend at least 90% of the course and/or pass the exam will be notified in writing via mail within 15 days of the scheduled completion of the course. Course providers and instructors may deliver examination results to their students as “Pass” or “Fail” grades only. Student tracking forms will be submitted to The Appraisal Foundation within 30 days of the course end to be used for course attendance verification.
RE-EXAMINATION POLICY
Valuadora will follow The Appraisal Foundation Policies for National USPAP courses:
Students who fail the 15-hour National USPAP Course Examination are allowed to re-take the examination twice, according to AQB policy. Each time a student takes the examination, he/she must be administered a different version of the examination (one of the three versions). After three (3) unsuccessful attempts, the student must re-take the course.
RECORDS RETENTION
Nancy Summers will retain records in accordance with OREA requirements.
HIRING INSTRUCTORS
Valuadora will follow the Appraisal Foundation requirements, with only AQB Certified USPAP Instructors teaching the National USPAP courses. Instructors will also meet OREA minimum guidelines for instructors.
