The Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989 recognizes USPAP as the generally accepted appraisal standards and requires USPAP compliance for appraisers in federally related transactions. State Appraiser Certification and Licensing Boards; federal, state, and local agencies, appraisal services; and appraisal trade associations require compliance with USPAP.

The 7-hour course material focuses on recent changes to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). It also addresses sections of USPAP that have not been changed but have been identified as problem areas. This course is intended to fulfill the 7-hour requirement as established by the Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB) of The Appraisal Foundation. The class will discuss changes to the 2010-11 edition of USPAP and will present the 2012-13 Document.

This course is OREA Approved for 7-hours USPAP CE (OREA# 11832C011) under the conditions and policies stated below. The price indicated below includes the Student Manual. The 2012-13 USPAP Document is required. Purchase the course “with the book” to buy a bound copy of the USPAP document, or “no book” if you already have a copy. If you already have a copy of 2012-13 USPAP, you must bring it with you to class.

Course registration must be made in advance via the secure payment links below using either a credit card or a Paypal account. Registration on-site is not available. Please call Nancy Summers at 909-228-8323 if there are problems with the registration links or send me an email. Classes are limited to the size of the facility and registration may be halted if booked to capacity.
